Ionol, an butylhydroxytoluene, dibunol, Agidol-1, BHT— 2.6 ditretbutil-4-METHYLPHENOL, is a lipophilic organic substance, a representative of the class of phenols, widely used in chemical industry as an antioxidant.
Technical ionol — yellow powder, pure the form of a white powder. Used as antioxidantin food processing (food additive E321), lubricating oils, rubbers, plasticsand etc. is Also a starting compound for the synthesis of various derivatives spatial difficult phenols, many of which have biological activity or are used in industry.
