Sodium benzoate
Sodium benzoate E-211for antibacterial properties, sodium Benzoate E211 is often used in the production of perfumes and hygiene products: toothpastes, shampoos, gels. Efficient, powerful antibiotic and preservative sodium Benzoate E211 is used in medicine as an expectorant agent, as well as in the manufacture of pyrotechnic devices, in particular in the missiles to give them a distinctive sound when takeoff.
E211 is a preservative often applicable, to ensure freshness
products. Inhibits the growth of yeast cells, fungi, some types
bacteria. In its natural form it is found in apples, cranberries, raisins, and in
spices (cloves, cinnamon).
Sodium benzoate is a water-soluble
substance. Consists of white crystals that have a slight
odor of benzaldehyde or no, with a sweet taste.
Antimicrobial action of sodium benzoate due to the influence of benzoic acid on the enzyme system of microorganisms. There is a strong the inhibitory effect on yeast cells and mold cells is reduced the activity of the enzymes that perform the oxidation reactions, recovery, and cleavage.

E211 in the food industry plays the role of a preservative for
fat products, mayonnaise, fruit products, meat, fish, beverages,
puree. You can find it in sauces, eggs, processed foods for the cheesecake, fruit
pies, pickles and olives, shrimp, pineapple juice, canned,
spices, candy.
Sodium benzoate is used as
antiseptic and fungicidal substance in a weakly acidic environment. Helps
to "improve" the taste of stale ingredients. The time of processing of products
a preservative is regulated by the process of production.

water), then the resulting solution added to the product.
