Sodium isoascorbate

Isoascorbate sodium (sodium isoascorbate, C6H7NaO6) is a food additive antioxidant.

Is a white crystals, almost odorless.

Isoascorbate sodium can slow the process of oxidation of organic compounds.

In food industry additive E316 is also used as acidifier, the coloring stabilizer and acidity regulator. The use of the additive E316 in product allows to increase their shelf life several times. Thanks antioxidant properties isoascorbate sodium, additive E316 saves the freshness and flavor of products, preventing the formation of these carcinogenic nitrosamines.

In food industry isoascorbate sodium is mainly used as an antioxidant. Widely used in the processing of meat and fish, a part many sausages. Isoascorbate sodium slows down the process of oxidation of organic compounds in foods. can also be used as acidifier, coloring stabilizer and acidity regulator.

Most this Supplement is widely used in confectionery, bakery and oil and fat industries. Also sodium isoascorbate used in the meat industry and when producing sausages, to stabilize the color of meat products.
