Lignosulfonate technical

Liquid sodium lignosulfonates powder – a by-product of wood processing. Technical lignosulphonates are a mixture of salts of lignosulfonic acids (reducing admixture and minerals) obtained from bisulfite cooking liquor from pulp.

Lignosulphonates is the General name of salts lignosulfonic acids. Are natural water-soluble sulfo derivative of lignin. Get in the wood with solutions of hydrosulfite alkali metal at a temperature of 140°C. product lignosulphonates get the evaporation desugared sulfite liquor and produced in the form of liquid and solid concentrates containing 50-92% by weight of solids.

Application technical lignosulfonates

In foundries, they are used as a binder material in the manufacture of core and moulding sand in iron, steel and non-ferrous castings, additives for anti-freeze paints.
In chemical industry they are used in the production of pesticides, seed treatments, chemical means of protection plants.
In the construction industry lignosulphonates apply:
- as a plasticizer of concrete and cement;

- as a diluent of cement raw material slime at the cement manufacturing wet method for reducing the moisture content slala;

as plasticizing and bonding material in the production of drywall sheets, plywood, particle Board and drevesno-fibrous plates;

- as a corrective additive in the production of clay gravel;

- as a binder for enhanced water resistance dust control and soil stabilization in road construction and transport the workings in the mine.

In the oil industry lignosulphonates are used:

- when drilling oil and gas wells, as a reagent for regulation of the basic parameters of drilling fluids;

- as a component of gel-forming systems for regulation of filtration flows and limiting water inflow in the processes enhance oil recovery;

- when granulating technical carbon and porous fillers made from powder, granular materials, charges;
when agglomeration of ferrous metal ores and briquetting fine coal fractions and specific coke, briquettes silicoaluminate.

Lignosulphonates are used in the production of synthetic tanning agents, their use as a source of raw material and dispersant, and also used as dressing material for cellulose containing bases in textile industry.
