Insulated pipes are the design of the "sandwich" consisting of a steel pipe coated with the outer insulation of rigid polyurethane foam. The use of hard polyurethane foam (PUF) insulation of pipelines and heat water is dictated by the unique qualities polyurethanes, such as:
