Mechanism of action

Contact preparation. The active substance of the drug is absorbed by the living cells of a plant, is involved in the metabolism of plants and forms compounds that destroy membranes of cells. As a result, the cells die and drying plants.

Signs of herbicidal action

The first visual symptoms of drug action on plants appear the next day in the form of discoloration of the leaves; brown spots and necrosis on day 2-3. 7-12 days after treatment, the culture is ready to harvest.

Phase of development of cultivated plants

The drug is used in the period of physiological maturity of seeds (seed moisture content of 30-50%, depending on the culture that is being processed. Treatment in the earlier stages of development of cultivated plants can lead to reduced yields and lower sowing properties of seeds. The period of application of Diquat on other cultures

- Wheat - in period, seed moisture not more than 30% with a consumption rate of 1.5-2.0 l/ha;
- Lucerne (seed crops) - when Browning 70-80% of beans with the consumption rate of 3.0 l/ha;

Weather conditions

The optimum temperature for use of the drug 10 ... 20S. The use of the drug in low temperatures (less than +10 ° C) slows down the manifestation of visual symptoms of drug action on plants, but does not affect the effectiveness of its action.

Sunny and hot weather accelerate the manifestation of visual symptoms of drug action, however, slightly reduces the effectiveness of its action. Rain 15-30 minutes after application of the drug does not reduce the efficiency of the plants.

The presence of dust, the dew on the plant surface, as well as unfavorable conditions (drought conditions, droughts) reduces the effectiveness of the product on plants, so it is not recommended to use the drug under these conditions.

The introduction of the drug

Spraying of crops is carried out both ground and air methods. The consumption rate of the working solution should provide complete and uniform coverage of the entire surface of the plant. For ground sprayers it is 200-300 l / ha with a pressure of 2-3 ATM, treatments for aviation - 50-70 l/ha with a pressure of 1.5-2.0 ATM.

Preparation of working solution

For preparation of working solution, fill the sprayer tank with water to 1/3 of the volume, include blending mode and add the required amount of drug. Fill the sprayer tank to full volume when mixing. While applying the product blending mode should be set to maintain the working solution in a homogeneous state . The working solution should be used within 24 hours.
