Vacuum contactors type Kvtn production NPP "Electrodynamics" intended trated for switching induction motors with squirrel-cage rotor and other receivers of electric power in electric networks with rated voltage up to 1140V. Contactors have a natural air cooling and provide work status in utilisation categories AC-3, AC-4 and other modes according to GOST 11206. Designed to operate in the following modes: ● long ; ● intermittent-continuous ; ● short-term ; ● intermittent. LOW voltage VACUUM CONTACTORS CLASS of 1.14 kV GENERAL PURPOSE are Used: ● crane in the panels; ● the composition of the complete low-voltage devices as a module, used to frequent switching; ● in systems of remote control of electric drives; ● automatic transfer switch (ATS); ● in the stations and control units asynchronous motors with squirrel-cage rotor; ● in other devices. Advantages of vacuum contactors ● the lack of an open electric arc; ● no need for maintenance of main contacts; ● low noise when turning on and off of the contactor; ● smaller footprint compared to air contactors; ● increased resource limit switching currents.
