The press is designed to produce pellets of moistened flour by punching it pressing rollers through the radial holes of the annular matrix.

The pellet mill brand OGM-1,5 consists of presses, mixers and screw feeders (feeding from the hopper). The dispenser delivers the product evenly in a mixer, where it is moistened by water or steam to a moisture content required for granulation, and is intensively mixed by stirrer (moisture facilitates the formation of stable granules), from the mixer wet product is removed in the pressing chamber of the press. In pressure camera flour is pulled between turning matrix and pressing rolls and pushed through radial holes of matrix where under high pressure is the formation of granules. Pushed from the holes of the pellets encounter the stationary knife and break off. Cut granules fall down and through the sleeve casing and removed from the press, get into the Elevator and transported in a cooler.
