Bitrex (denatured)
The proposed bitrex (denatured) for denaturation alcohols and household chemicals.
Bitrex — dentoni benzoate is a solid crystalline substance of white colour, without smell, also sold in the form of solutions in ethylene glycol.
Used as denaturing additive. Soluble in water 45g/l at 20 C reacts with oxidizing agents. When storing bitrex you should use a sealed container.
Chemical name: benzyl diethyl [ ( 2.6 cellcursor )methyl]ammonium benzoate. Benzyldiethyl [(2,6 xylylcarbamoyl) methyl] ammonium benzoate, Aversion, Piperazine(denatonium) or piperazine benzoate (benzoate denatonium).
Synthetic bitter substance bitrex is used as the "repellent agent" to prevent accidental internal use of toxic substances, for example, children or animals.
