The GPS transmitters are designed to work in systems of automatic control and regulation of production processes with the aim of issuing the information about the measured pressure or negative pressure of gas or liquid in the form of unified pneumatic analog output signal.

For protection against environmental influences transducers are manufactured according to GOST 12997-84 in two versions:
• degree of protection against water and dust IP42 according to GOST 14254-80,
• protected against aggressive environments (corrosion resistant) containing hydrogen sulfide, ammonia and other compounds are aggressive to copper and copper alloys.
Each transmitter has adjustment of the measuring range, which allows you to configure it to the limits of measurement specified for the type.
The measurement range of the transducer with a zero value outside the measurement range can be moved in any direction without changing its value. When moving the measuring range towards the lower pressure the initial value of the measuring range (corresponding to the output signal is 0.2 kgf/cm2) is not less than 25% of the upper limit of measurement by moving the measurement range toward the higher pressure end value of the range (the corresponding output signal is 1 kgf/cm2) is not more than the upper limit of measurement.
