NA frost first Serbian winter cultivar of pea protein, intended for grain production. Grade established “pedigree“ method selection from a hybrid population.

Very early, uniform ripening. Excellent transfers low temperature. Resistance to low temperatures in the conditions of Serbia, this grade level with winter wheat. Plants limited growth, height of 60-80 cm, with frequent nodules in the lower part of the stem that increases tolerance to lodging. The plants branch out and average have two of the stem.

Grade NS the frost is of the type of leaf afila (baleen), which allows tying plants in the early stages of growth and development, so that the seeding Nepalese remains until harvesting. This allows for easy cleaning and a significant reduction in the grain losses during harvesting.

Flower – white. The pods are in the upper part of the stem that also significantly reduces losses during mechanical harvesting. The number of pods the plant varies between 10 and 14. Grain –circular shape, light cream to light green color.

The variety is ultra-early maturing, harvesting is carried out ten days before harvesting winter barley, averaging from 10 to 15 June. Reaches grain yield between 4.0 and 6.2 t/ha.
