The guides (or precision) shafts are made from high-carbon chromium bearing steel or martensitic stainless steel, and low carbon bearing steel. The guide shafts are manufactured in such a way as to obtain the best parameters of roundness, cylindricity, surface roughness and straightness. Most often used in combinations with linear bearings to ensure accurate linear motion. In this case, the shaft plays the role of a linear guide, so the quality of the shaft and the accuracy of its production directly affects the working conditions of the linear bearing.
The main characteristics of shafts:

•Manufacturing tolerances: h6.
•Depth of hardening: 0,4-3,2 mm
