I. IFRS And us GAAP: BASIC COURSE. THEORY, PRACTICE AND THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE TRANSFORMATION (16 AK. PM)
• Requirements of international standards for the format of financial statements under IFRS. Comparison of requirements of the Russian accounting statements and IFRS.
• The similarities and differences between IFRS and RAS in the context of the recognition of assets and liabilities, income and expenses (part 1): revenue, inventory, fixed assets recognition intangible assets, cash and cash equivalents.
• The similarities and differences between IFRS and RAS in the context of the recognition of assets and liabilities, income and expenses (part 2): stocks, principles of capitalization cost of debt financing, the reporting of reserves, rent.
• The concept of transformation of financial reporting and its principles.
II. IFRS: PRACTICAL APPLICATION. PRINCIPLES, METHODOLOGY, ALGORITHMS of transformation of RUSSIAN accounts IN IFRS FORMAT (24 AK H)
• The main stages of transformation. Preparation (gathering information). Principles of construction of a working model. The conversion into foreign currency. The preparation of financial statements.
• Methods and techniques of transformation. Types of transformational adjustments. The principles of the transfer of the amendments of the previous period when the financial statements for the current period.
• Technology transformation. Transformational account. Preparation of transformation tables.
• Deferred income tax and preparation of disclosures under this section.
• Practical work on compiling transformation table.
• Peculiarities of formation of the financial statements upon first adoption of IFRS (IFRS 1).
III. IFRS: PRACTICAL APPLICATION. THE PRINCIPLES OF THE STATEMENT OF CASH FLOWS (IAS 7). DEVELOPMENT NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS AND ACCOUNTING POLICIES UNDER IFRS (8 AK.H)
IV. TRANSFORMATION: WORKSHOP ON REPORTING UNDER IFRS (16 AK.H)
Participants perform practical tasks in EXCEL spreadsheets using personal laptops. Upon completion of training the trainees remains transformational model and detailed methodological recommendations on transformation of financial statements from GAAP to IFRS.
