Load switch VL-16 is used to disable
and enable circuits under load. Interrupter device
switches designed for damping of low-power arcs that occur when disconnecting
load current. They cannot be applied to short circuit current.
To break the circuit in case of short circuit,
in series with the shutdown loads are high voltage
fuses corresponding ability. Load break switches replaced
expensive high-voltage circuit breakers.
