Fiberglass reinforcement (HSA ACP)- composite reinforcement is made of fiberglass, giving strength, and thermosetting resin acting as a binder. One of the advantages of GRP fittings are light weight and high strength. Having high strength and corrosion resistance, is an alternative to the valves of metal; unlike steel (200 kN/sq. mm) has a smaller modulus of elasticity of from 30 to 55 kN/sq. mm.
