Protectosil " WS 328 - emulsion solvent-based reactive organomodified siloxanes for water-repellent impregnation of absorbent, mineral substrates with excellent binding effect.
To obtain ready-to-eat products the composition of Protectosil " WS 328 can be diluted to a content of active substances 5-25%, depending on the destination(1:10, 1:2). For the preparation of ready-to-use solutions to the emulsion is added water (preferably demineralized) with slow stirring. When diluted it is necessary to use appropriate antiseptic additives. Before using the composition of Protectosil " WS 328 and compositions on its basis it is recommended to mix. Water-based Protectosil " WS 328 for stone and brick masonry should be applied by pouring, brush or roller. The substrate must be dry, clean and quite porous. Before the final impregnation is recommended to evaluate the required dosage, testing the composition on quite a representative control site. Treatment compositions on the basis of Protectosil " WS 328 may be unsuitable for very dense substrates (e.g., marble).
During application the temperature of the air and surface should be between +5 °C to +40 °C. Protectosil " WS 328 should not be applied during strong winds or rain."
