Dynasylan MTMS
Offer type: salePublished: 03.07.2015
Dynasylan MTMS - allyltriethoxysilane, which is an important component in Sol-gel systems.
Is a colorless, low viscosity liquid, is used for acidic or alkali-catalyzed hydrolysis. The reaction involves three alkoxy groups and a methyl group. Hydrolysis leads to the formation of silanol groups, which, in the subsequent condensation reaction, form a very stable siloxane linkages (-Si-O-Si-). Condensation occurs simultaneously with the hydrolysis after the formation of a certain number of silanol groups. Important factors influencing the processes are pH, concentration, solvent, temperature and concentration.
Prehydrolysis often are combined with other organofunctional silanes, esters of silicic acid (for example, Dynasylan A) or even with the aqueous Sol of silicon dioxide. This product can be subjected to even more profound modification by the addition of organic resins and inorganic nanoparticles.
You can also create organic/inorganic network by adding organofunctional groups and organic resin and subsequent polymerization with the use of standard methods. This principle allows to obtain a shock-resistant coating with a higher UV resistance than traditional. This property allows to obtain more fireproof materials.
Compatible with the following polymeric binders: acrylics, alkyds, epoxies, nitrocellulose, phenolic, PVC, polyesters, polyurethane.
