The need add a feed in the diet

Highly productive cows are particularly large energy demand experienced in the first period after calving, when nutrients do not cover the consumption of the energy going on the synthesis of milk. A significant reduction of the energy deficit in this period can to be achieved by the introduction in the diet of foods rich in energy – feed. The low quality of basic feeds (hay, silage, haylage) also causes the need to balance the rations of feed additive. Modern technologies allow to enter in the fodder for the maximum number vitamins, micro and macronutrients for each species. The number feed in the diet of cows is determined by several factors: the level the productivity of cows and the need to balance the diet and protein phosphorus. The higher the milk yield of cows, the higher should be the proportion of concentrates in diets. Full feeding pregnant animals has a positive effect on the composition colostrum after calving, which is of great importance in the prevention of gastro – intestinal diseases of newborn calves. It is therefore important to let the cow feed with regard to its physiological condition, to normalize metabolism substances in Preradovic and postpartum periods. Concentrated feed it is advisable to feed in the form of animal feed, improving their usefulness. In feed grain shall be not more than 50 mass%. The rest are from non-grain ingredients ( bran, soybean meal, molasses, dry bagasse, stillage, distillers grain, grass meal, etc.) Plants produce animal feed in the form of granules of different sizes. It depends on the type and age of animals for where is this feed.
