Copper Round

Copper rods are made from primary (M1 and M2) and (M3) copper grades in accordance with GOST 1535-2006. According to GOST 859-2001 is determined by their chemical composition. The process of preparation and selection of test items to determine the chemical composition is performed according to GOST 24231-80. For the production of copper circles are applied methods of pulling, pressing, hot or cold deformation.

Copper circle is also called copper logs. The product is a copper rod of different diameter. The diameter of the rod ranges from 3 to 160 mm. On the strength of copper wire steel inferior to similar products but it is superior in plasticity and is less weight. Weight of one meter of copper rod with the smallest diameter is 3 mm 0,063 kg and with a diameter of 160 mm – 179,749 kg.

Main characteristics of copper round bars are abrasion resistance, good corrosion resistance, easy machining and high electrical conductivity. Due to these qualities, copper round demanded in various industries. It is used in mechanical engineering, power engineering, instrument engineering and electrical engineering.

Copper wire (circle) has valuable physical and chemical properties. Temperature its melting point is 1083 degrees Celsius, the density of 8.98 g/cm2. With these options the product is applicable in virtually any region.

Copper wire is being implemented in the bays or in the form of segments of random length.

According to the parameters of the copper circles (bars) can be:

according to the method of production: cold-deformed (D) or hot (G);

- precision: normal precision (H), increased (P) or high ();

- as material: soft (M) semi-hard (PT) or solid (T);

- length: random (ND), the length of the coils (BT) or a multiple dimensional (KD).

In some cases, copper rods confer special properties and succumb to labeling:

- soft with high ductility (L);

a semi - hard, with a high plasticity index (P);

- solid with high plasticity ();

- processed on the machines (AB).

The copper round is for the production of nuts, shafts, valves, washers, gears, all kinds of units or aggregates. Copper wire is malleable to different types of mechanical processing. Easily punched, pressed, bent, forged, drilled, milled and cut.
