AD31 – aluminum alloys with high corrosion resistance and low strength. Number 31 after marking the AD indicate purity of the aluminum cent. This alloy is used to produce parts and structures for various industries. In the welds retained a sufficient level of corrosion resistance. To increase the hardness of the brand AD31, use of methods for quenching and artificial aging. Depending on the degree of heat treatment distinguish modifications of the alloy with different characteristics. For example, mark АД31Т1 corresponds to wrought aluminum, tempered to maximum strength. Marking АД31Т5 indicates a hardening of semi-finished products from the end temperature of the hot forming and the subsequent artificial aging for maximum strength.
