Level switch ESP-50 (EP-53)

Level switch the ESP-50 is designed for alarm and the fluid level control with good and poor electrical conductivity in open and closed containers.

Used for audio, optical signaling, to regulate level, self-emptying or filling of objects such as: potable water tanks, milk tanks, sumps, drains, the condensate tanks, pneumatic water pumping installations, boilers, tanks with chemicals, tanks, drinks and food goods, irrigation tanks and others.

Single level switch ESP-50 contains three parallel active channel, which allows independently of other signal appropriate levels of liquid in one, two or three tanks that facilitates the design of control systems.

Using the indicator ESP-50 can produce level control working in a wide range of pressures, temperatures and chemical aggressiveness.

The liquid, however, should not be:

• too high content of suspensions;
• with significant crystallization, produce a precipitate;
• should not have other properties that cause the coating of the electrode sensor non-conductive layer.

An electronic device alarm (electronic relay EP-5) may be also used for signaling and control any other physical quantities that can be converted into electrical impedance proportional to data values (for example: alarm lighting and signalling of absence of flame using appropriate photoresists, alarm and temperature adjustment when combined with the appropriate thermistor, or contact thermometer, alarm and adjusting the pressure or flow at joint work with contact pressure gauge, etc.

Personnel safety is ensured by the very low values of currents and voltages (16 V) on the sensors.

The alarm device may not be installed in areas containing explosive vapours or gases.
