The scrubber apparatus as wet dust collection is widespread due to the relatively small cost of production, high efficiency dust removal, the possibility of their use in high temperature and high humidity cleaned gases, and also in cases of danger of spontaneous combustion, explosion, gas or entrained dust . The advantage of wet vehicles is the possibility of simultaneous implementation of gas purification from suspended particles (dust control), extraction of gaseous impurities (absorption) and cooling the purified gas (heat transfer). As irrigating fluid in apparatus of the wet dust collection, as a rule, water is used; in the case of simultaneous gas cleaning from dust and gaseous contaminants choice of irrigating liquid (absorbent) is determined by the chemical composition of the entrained impurities.
Part of the scrubber:
- Body scrubber folding;
- Irrigation system with centrifugal tangential nozzles (replaceable) and plates for the formation of foam;
- Removal device of the sludge;
System emergency shut-off water supply.
The scrubber operates as follows:
The gas cleaning is served by an inclined duct in the lower part of the scrubber and lifted the body up. In the upper part of the scrubber are 3 tiers irrigation, consisting of centrifugal injectors. NaOH solution, supplied under pressure is sprayed. Forming droplets of the solution fall under gravity towards the dusty gas and pass through the perforated disastrous plates,
which generates foam mode, and the interaction of the gas with a solution.
