The purpose of the scrubber in General - flue gas cleaning from dust produced during combustion of dispersed carbonaceous material in the afterburners. The body scrubber is designed to organize the flow of gas and water drops. The irrigation system is designed to supply and spraying of water in the body of the scrubber. The mechanism of extraction of the sludge is designed for the automatic extraction of the sludge from the scrubber vessel. Emergency shutoff of water is designed to turn off the water supply if you cannot remove cuttings from the scrubber vessel.
operates as follows:
The gas is fed to the cleaning, served by an inclined duct in the lower part of the scrubber and lifted the body up. In the upper part of the scrubber are 3 tiers irrigation, consisting of centrifugal injectors. Lime-water slurry (aqueous CaCO3), which is supplied under pressure, is sprayed. Forming droplets of an aqueous solution of CaCO3 fall under gravity towards the foul gas. Particulate dust drops of water occurs under the action of inertial and diffusive mechanism, hydrodynamic and electrostatic forces and turbulent diffusion. The cleaning gas from the sulfur oxide (SO2) occurs by absorption technology. Contact lime-water suspension with gas reaction occurs:
CaCO3 + SO2 + ½ H2O = СаSО3·NO + CO2
The oxygen in the combustion products, cooksley calcium sulfate in neutral sulfate (gypsum):
СаSO3 ·½H2O +1½O2 = CaSO4·2H2O
The spent aqueous solution containing gypsum CaSO4 and collected dust is collected in the bottom of the scrubber. The cleaned gas is discharged through the ducts placed in the upper part of the apparatus. For the de-sludging special device consisting of a float chamber and a throttle controller that supports a given level of sludge
