PREM (Russia) - electromagnetic flowmeter-counter

PREM is an electromagnetic flowmeter designed to measure the volumetric flow rate and volume of electrically conductive liquids in conduits from Dom to Dom.

The flow of PREM have the ability to transmit the measurement results to an external device (heat calculators, controllers, devices, centralized control and other secondary devices).
The electromagnetic flow Converter is designed for use at the heat and power sector, industrial enterprises and housing and communal services.

General features of PRAM:
- A single type (modifications of PRAM does not exist).
Three class versions with different dynamic ranges B1, C1, D.
- Different dynamic ranges in forward and reverse directions.
- Additional current output or RS 485.
- The number of pulse outputs have several modes (reverse, with respect to the direction of flow; a comparator; the indicator measurement error) can be configured when ordering; the default is set to reverse mode.

Design features of PREM
- Performance: "sandwich", or flanged.
- The presence of an arrow on the body pointing straight flow direction.
- PRAM can be equipped with built-in indicator to display measurement results.
- Protection from unauthorized interference:
- PRAM has hardware protection against unauthorized changes of the calibration coefficients.
- Limited access to change the tuning parameters of PREM.
- The weight of the pulse is constant (set by the manufacturer when ordering).

Operational characteristics:
Converters, PRAM used in the measurement of the volume flow of water and other homogeneous liquids with a specific conductivity of from 10-3 to 10 cm/m
The devices are designed for use when exposed to the following external factors:
- Medium, non-corrosive to the material of the inner pipe coatings - PTFE F4 and electrodes - steel 12X18H10T;
- Temperature of the medium in the range from 0 to +150°C;
- Ambient temperature from -10 to +50°C;
- Working environmental pressure up to 1.6 MPa.
- Power converters is supplied from the constant current source with a nominal voltage of 12V with power of 5 watts.
- The minimum length of straight sections of pipe before and after the Converter - 2 DN.

Output signals:
- one or two a number of pulse-signal;
- current signal in the range of change of current (4-20) mA, proportional to the measured flow rate (optional)
digital signal interface standard RS485 or RS232. (by order).
