Structural features s
Kilovoltmeter type s is a portable Trekhprudny device electrostatic system with a light reference.
Kilovoltmeters s work on the principle of electrostatic interaction arising between the two bodies under tension relative to each other. One of the interacting bodies is strengthened still in the unit and forms a fixed electrode of the electrostatic voltmeter. The second interactive body mounted on an axis that can rotate, and forms a movable electrode voltmeter. Axis movable electrode is mounted on stretching, the elastic force of the torsion balance which forces the electrostatic interaction between the electrodes.
The soothing movement of the movable part of kilovoltmeter s is braking currents arising in the sector movable electrode moving in a magnetic field of a permanent magnet.
Kilovoltmeters s have low input capacitance and high insulation resistance, therefore, measure the DC voltage is practically no consumption.
Kilovoltmeter s has a triple scale, in accordance with the three outside measurements. All three scales are mounted on the holder, the axis of which is mounted the handle. At the same holder mounted screens of frosted plexiglass, on which is projected the image of the light pointer. Before the scale is placed a plate with a cutout, which is marked.
Kilovoltmeter s decorated in a body cast from aluminum alloy. The case also serves as an electrostatic screen.
