Scientific name Morelia spilota
variegata. This type of carpet pythons inhabit the North-East of Western
Australia, Kimberley region (Engl. northeast of West Australia, Kimberley
District), along the Northern part of the Northern territory, including Islands
Melville, Groot island and Bathurst (eng. Northern Territory, icluding
Bathurst island, Melville island, Groote Eylandt) on the North-West of the state of Queensland, on the Peninsula of Cape-York (eng. northwest of Queensland, Cape York peninsula).
Sometimes
found in suburban and urban areas.
This is a small Python medium size, length of adult specimens from 160 to
190 see (on average 180 cm), although some animals reach 200 cm in length.
Coloration is highly variable and has a complex combination of colors, from
light brown, with a creamy yellowish or grayish tint to dark
brown and even reddish. Like many types of carpet pythons enough
simple in content. In the wild they live in rocky areas,
covered with bushes or trees, Eucalyptus savannas, and open
monsoon forests.
