Sulfanol is a mixture of sodium salts. They belong to
among the surfactants (detergents), soluble in
water having emulsifying properties. Scaly crystals
brown or yellowish pasty mass is almost odorless.
Sulfanol used with chloroform for the treatment of animals against larvae
skin gadfly (a 1.5% aqueous solution of chlorophos with 1% sulfanol). In this
case sulfanol replaces the drug OP-7. Sulfanol increases the activity
chlorophos and therefore halved the need for gloriose. Sulfanol
can also be used instead of soap for washing the skin
