Transformer ATHOS-2000 is used for resistance spot-welding, equipped with power adjustment, overheat protection and a timer. Spot welding is performed on the variable current, this device can operate with low-carbon steels and non-ferrous metals. The principle of operation of resistance welding is the connection of the compressed surfaces by passing current through them. Products are clamped between the electrodes manually pressing the upper arm of the welding machine. In this model, you can also change the time of the passage of welding current through the electrode. The compact size and light weight facilitate the transportation of the apparatus.

Welding ATHOS-2000 operates from mains at 220V, the maximum value of the welding current reaches 4500 A. Welding pulse can last from 0.1 to 3 seconds. The unit's capacity is set from 25% to 100%. A 10 minute duty cycle at maximum output PV is 30%, i.e. 3 minutes, the device runs 7 min. cool down.
