Line crushing and grinding straw
- Conveyor for straw – bales are placed on a conveyor and fed into a grinder;
- Crusher – crusher opens the bales and straw grinds up particles of ~ 100 mm;
Compulabel – chopped straw is screening stones. Stones of any size would have resulted in damage to hammer mill and brakethrough press;
Hammer mill – hammer mill reduces the size of the straw crushed to particles of desired size, generally it is 5-15 mm;
Cyclonic filter – straw passes through a cyclone, where dust is separated from air. The straw is fed to a screw conveyor, and dust, in turn, returned to the process;
