Despite the similarity with the Italian pasta, zucchini spaghetti originally comes from Japan. It got its name from the pasty threads that are extracted from it after cooking.
Vermicelli F1 is an improved spaghetti, maturing on a week faster than all the other varieties of zucchini spaghetti.
It forms a huge number of oval, medium size fruit filled with a creamy "spaghetti" with a nutty flavor.
Fruit weight on average 4 to 5 pounds (2-2. 5 kg) length 9 inches (23 cm) diameter 6 inches (15 cm).
The taste is sweet and soft, crunchy texture.
Vermicelli F1 spaghetti this winter, with a very solid peel for long-term storage (6-7 months), but that's the case, if you allow it to grow to full maturity, which occurs in 90-100 days after germination.
This squash is harvested young for use as summer squash with a soft shell.
