Capacitive water heater ACV Comfort 160 indirect heating is intended to heat the sanitary water. Heating the coolant comes from heater: gas, electric or solid fuel boiler. It is prohibited to use a heating device for other purposes. The heater can be installed on the floor or on the wall (except ACV Comfort 240l). Before filling the heating circuit of the heater, you must fill sanitary water tank stainless steel. The instrument comprises of high-quality polyurethane foam insulation with a thickness of 30 mm, which allows to reduce heat loss of the tank. The inner tank of water heater are made of stainless steel, outer tank made of steel, and the decorative casing is made of polypropylene. Used in hot water systems domestic hot water: the external tank is used as the heating circuit from the heating system and domestic stainless steel as the DHW pipes for the preparation of sanitary hot water.
The water heater is used in inversion type water connection. To ensure safety and to prevent corrosion of the stainless steel tank must be earthed. The boiler must be equipped with a security group: safety valve, air vent and pressure gauge. Also, the manufacturer recommends installing a thermostatic mixing valve at the outlet of the water heater that protects from burns and will maintain the water temperature at 60 OS.
Manufacturer ACV offers a lineup of water heaters Comfort 5 versions depending on the inner volume: 100, 130, 160, 210 and 240 litres. For heat control you can purchase separately a control panel, and for mounting heater to wall mounting brackets. In addition, the heater can be connected a temperature sensor or thermostat. The maximum water temperature inside the tank should not exceed 90°, the maximum pressure in the heating circuit is 3 bar, the hot water circuit is 10 bar. The test pressure of the heating circuit is 3.9 bar, loop DHW – 13 bar. Incoming cold water temperature should be at +10 OC.
