The gas detector is designed for automatic and continuous monitoring dovzryvoopasnyh concentrations of methane (CH4), issuance light and sound alarm, and also for feeding electrical signals to external devices and switching external electrical circuits in excess of specified values of methane concentration.

The nominal value of the threshold detector gas - 20% LEL (lower explosive limit flame spread).

Terminal block alarm gas provides connectivity to the device and control any external devices safety shut-off valve of any type and additional external light and sound alarm (light Board, siren).

Voltage - ~187±242V 50Hz. The calibration interval is 12 months.

Alarms can work with any type of shut-off valves and alarm devices and do not need to negotiate with them additional devices.

The instruments are equipped with a microprocessor-based data processing system and self-test, have a built-in light and sound alarming, indicating that the excess in the air permissible concentrations of hazardous and/or toxic gases.

The devices are manufactured in the following versions:

* "VARTA 2-01 - detector methane (CH4) with the ability to control 3 external Executive devices

* "VARTA 2-02 - detector carbon monoxide (CO, carbon monoxide) with the ability to control 2 external Executive devices

* "VARTA 2-03 - detector methane and carbon monoxide (combined) with the ability to control 4 external Executive devices

* "VARTA 2**A" detector with built-in battery to power the device when no voltage in the network

* "VARTA 2**B" - signalling device of simplified construction without the ability to control external devices

* "VARTA 2**P - detector with voltage 12V DC or AC

* "VARTA 2-01.1 is a signaling increased to 12 months calibration interval

The gas detectors have a warranty period of 2 years. Subject to the conclusion of the contract for periodic maintenance alarms authorized service centre of the manufacturer warranty period is increased to 5 years.

Alerters "GUARD 2" entered in the State register of measuring instruments of Ukraine since 2001 and have a resolution of Gosgorpromnadzora of Ukraine for use with 2001, 2006, entered into the state register of the Russian Federation in 2009 - in the state register of the Republic of Moldova.
