Separators, magnetic drum processing equipment with drum design conveying a working body that is designed for the separation of magnetic minerals from the empty nonmagnetic rocks using the attraction of particles with high magnetic susceptibility.
Principle of operation
Material containing magnetic impurities, is fed to the outer shell of the magnetic drum. Getting into the field of action of powerful, high-gradient magnetic field, the particles of the magnetic impurities are attracted to the surface of the shell of the drum, rotating around a stationary magnetic system collected on permanent magnets. After moving for a magnetic system the magnetic field disappears and primarychannel particles due to centrifugal force is discharged separately from the main stream of material.
In drum magnetic separator our productions there are no consumables in the form of an expensive Kevlar tape.
Drum magnetic separator is designed for high-quality magnetic enrichment (separation) of dry bulk materials with any content metallomagnetic impurities and grain size of the material 40 to 1 mm Magnetic separator has been successfully working with such materials as glass, slag, ore ...
