Application
Magnetic separator is suitable for separating finely-crushed material to the magnetic properties in the laboratory.
Principle of operation
The working principle of magnetic separator is based on the interaction of particles of magnetic material with an alternating magnetic field generated by the rotating rotor installed on it four pairs of poles of the permanent magnets based on Nd-Fe-B, which eliminates the formation of magnetic flocs and to ensure a good separation of particles of the raw material of fine grinding.
The separator consists of a rotor with a magnetic system, driven in rotation by an electric motor, vibratory feeder and working canisters installed on the hat-Cam. Working canister has two cameras, for receiving the magnetic and nonmagnetic fractions. The separator can operate both dry and wet mode.
The initial mixture of materials with different magnetic susceptibility served with tray feeder on the stationary surface of the canister on the slope of a camera. Under the action of a traveling magnetic field generated by the rotating rotor (in the direction of rotor rotation indicated on the canister), magnetic and non-magnetic particles are distributed in the respective receiving chambers.
