Tartrate of potassium-sodium is used in the food industry as an additive E337 (antioxidant). It has a salty, cooling taste. Use this salt and baking powders[12]. The substance has been used in medicine as a laxative (supposedly pharmacist of Senet used this salt to help with stomach disorders[5]). For these purposes, Sagatova salt is now often used in the composition of the powder Sedlica.
