Activsorb 109
Comes in the form of granules.
Made of coconut shell, specially for harmonization (correction) taste and odor of drinking water and beverages. Activsorb 109 is a highly effective adsorbent for many substances that negatively affect the taste and aroma distillates. Its unique properties to absorb undesirable organic compounds are related to its high porous structure obtained after special heat treatment coconut shell and impact of water vapor. Method of application:
The principle of application Activsorbu 109 similar to that used in normal water filters. The passage of 1 liter of fluid through the layer 109 Activsorb should be at least 60 minutes (effective absorption of undesirable substances depends on the time of contact of the liquid with the adsorbent).
In addition, the adsorbent can be placed in a nylon mesh and put directly into the tank with the water flow for at least 6 hours, stirring regularly.
The efficiency of coal also depends on the temperature of the distillate. The increased temperature of the liquid does not contribute to adsorption - the optimum temperature for the process of absorption is 10°C.
The quantity in one package is sufficient for filtering 20 liters of distillate.
ATTENTION Before using activated charcoal should be rinsed in distilled water for 24 hours to remove air bubbles.
