Modular precision sound level meter, model 2231 is designed for measurement of sound pressure levels, equivalent sound pressure levels, the statistical, octave and third octave analysis, and analysis of infrasonic and ultrasonic region when connecting external filters. The device allows the determination of the sound level of impulse noise generated by machinery.

DESCRIPTION

Sound level meter is a portable multi-function system. Sound level meter consists of a main unit 2231 with the control keyboard, display, connectors and plug-in modules. At block 2231, there are connectors for a microphone, modules, audio filters, modules for vibration measurements and modules with the software. Key assignment on the front panel of the unit 2231 are defined depending on the chosen configuration of the device. The instrument includes three removable panels on the keyboard that allow you to control the device depending on loaded software. After you download the software from replacement blocks in an internal storage device, the block is removed. Sound level meter has a digital interface for communication with a personal computer. Basic device configuration: measurement maximum, minimum, instantaneous, peak sound pressure levels at characterwise characteristics A, C, Lin, and equivalent sound levels. There is a possibility of statistical processing of measurement results.
