Robot manipulator RobiT toy from the STEM. This is a clever entertainment which helps the child to begin to explore several of science – electrical engineering, mechanics, automatic control system, robotics, computer science.

 

Collect designer interesting and just – detailed instructions with image elements that incrementally demonstrates the whole a process that consists of several stages:

  1. Assembly mechanical parts

  2. connection electronics

  3. download program the memory controller with a computer

 

After successful completion of all actions and connect the assembled model to a power source, RobiT will give the first signs “life” flashing led on the Board and rotation of the manipulator in the original position. Now he is ready to follow instructions, to be loaded in the controller memory.

 

For the first experiments we have developed several libraries that demonstrate a core ability designer:

 

BitKit_Shield – required for the initial connection of the manipulator and checking electronics. With its help, run simple commands. When you press the buttons SW1-SW4 LEDs blink with different speed and fully disabled.

Handle_Manipulator – used for manual control of the manipulator. Regulators ENC 1-4 installing the machine in different position.

Manipulator_RepeaterPosition. Mode use this library with buttons SW1 stores the current position. The controller reproduces these provisions with the button SW2. Just it can remember up to 10 of the provisions of the manipulator. In order to reset all save and start creating a new sequence, press button SW3.
