Brake cylinder 188B, B, B and A intended to create efforts in the brake rigging. Brake cylinder 188B is applied on four-axle freight wagons; B - on the narrow gauge railway cars; B - industrial locomotives; A for trucks six - axle cars. Cylinders of the same design, but have different size cylinders, front and rear caps and pistons are cast - iron. The rod is rigidly connected with the piston. The piston set seal rubber cuff and lubricating felt ring. In the front cover is a mesh filter. On the back cover you can install bracket deadlock lever actuator.
