Lignin-alkaline reagents are crumbly powder, paste or liquid from dark brown to light gray with a slight characteristic odor. Are the product of the interaction of humic substances in solid fuel (pulverized lignite), with a concentrated caustic soda solution, resulting in a salt - HUMATE sodium or potassium, depending on technology used in alkali.
Bulk density of the dry reagent - 0,75-0,8 g/cm?, the density of the liquid reagent is in the range from 1.0 to 1.04 g/L.
Currently humic reagents are available mainly in powder form so-called "dry method". The inventive method consists in treating a concentrated solution of sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide brown coal with a high content of humic acids. The thus obtained reactant has a crumbly appearance and convenient in operation, as the clay is added to the solution without any prior training. The technology of manufacture of reagents is very simple and raw materials are practically unlimited.
