Oil series AGIP DICREA are designed for the lubrication of air compressors both rotary and reciprocating types. They are made from selected high quality base oils based paraffin with antioxidant, anticorrosion and antiwear additives. PROPERTIES AND PERFORMANCE • Oil series AGIP DICREA have very good thermal and oxidation stability at high temperatures, which is confirmed by a slight increase oil coke-like deposits when tested by the method of DIN 51352 part 2. They do not form a sediment or carbon deposits on the hot parts of the compressor, which reduces the probability of occurrence of the compression ring, and blockage of the channels of the valve. Oil AGIP DICREA has a high resistance to oxidative aging and does not form sludge and deposits,as evidenced by the results of tests by the method of R. O. C. O. T. (oxidation test showing the change in stability to oxidation of the oil contained in the compressor). Thus oil AGIP DICREA are operated over a long period of time in rotary compressors (vane and screw type). • These oils do not tend to rust and meet the requirements of ASTM D 665 A/B. • Oil AGIP DICREA have very good anti-wear properties and have a 9 degree load FZG method. Anti-wear properties play a crucial role in the lubrication of rotary compressors, are most subject to wear, compared to compressors of the reciprocating type. • Oil AGIP DICREA compatible with all rubber seals used as spacers in compressors. APPLICATION Oil AGIP DICREA recommended for the lubrication of air compressors, including compressors with discharge temperature air 200°C or higher.
