High voltage refractometrically complex "Iskra-3M is designed for determine the distance to the fault of the underground cables with paper - oil insulation 6-10 kV at a distance of 12 km and measuring the length of cable in the Bay.

The high voltage domain reflectometer oscillographic “ISKRA-3” (hereinafter referred to as “TDR”) designed to determine the distance to the fault of the communication cables and cables power supply.

           The device allows you to:

- to detect and determine the distance to the fault or heterogeneity of location (refractometrically) method for symmetric and asymmetric cables;

- to measure the length of cables (including drums and coils) or distance to open or short circuit;

- remember, store and processing the results of measurements;

- as part of mobile the tester can determine the distance to the fault in the cables up to 12 km for all types of damage without the use of prior full burning insulation.

The device lets be stored in internal non-volatile memory 4 groups of measurements (up to 15 the traces in each), as well as save them to your computer for further analysis and accounting. (This function is implemented according to individual requirement the customer).

1.2. The reflectometer is designed for operation inside indoor (in particularly in covered vehicles under the following conditions:

· temperature range ambient air, OS - from -10 to +40;

· relative humidity air at a temperature of 25 C - up to 80% ;

· atmospheric pressure, mm RT. Art. - 650 - 800;

In the case of distance measurement on high the voltage in the ‘swim breakdown’, idle, short circuit the error ranges from +15 to +25 meters at a distance of 1 km, and from +20 to +40 meters at a distance of over 1 km
