The sunflower hybrid ALPHA
Simple interline hybrid entered in the State Register of plant varieties of Ukraine since 2006.
Early maturing, high yielding, resistant to major phytopathogens vysokosaharistyh. Has high adaptability: vinovnosti plant height, the simultaneous flowering and maturation, the perfect type of slope of the basket. Basket of medium thickness, flat, slightly convex with 100% zavyazyvaetsya seeds to the center. Hybrid medium-tall plant height 150-160 cm
The potential productivity of hybrid reaches 4.8 t/ha. the oil content of seeds is 50-51%, weight of 1000 seeds is 55 to 58 g.
Is highly resistant to downy mildew, Broomrape, tolerant to Volgograd, grey and white rots.
The recommended plant density for harvest in the forest-Steppe zone is 52 to 55 thousand/ha, in the Central Steppe – 45-50 thousand/ha, in the southern Steppe – 42 to 45 thousand/ha.
