The originator – Institute of plant im. V. Ya. Yur ’ Eva NAAN.

Sorrowing signs . Variety – contecstum(concatenated), podrazavalacki – vulgare (common jovonna).

The variety is semi-dwarf, petlistogo type. The stem is typical. Plant height 55 – 75 cm. of Internodes before the first inflorescence 14-16. Flowers white, on pedicels, two flower. The legume is shelling, selenography, with blunt tip, beans well executed, number of seeds per legume is 5-6, the maximum – 7. Seeds are pink, rounded-compressed, with smooth surface.

Economic features. The grade of the grain direction, mid-ripening. The duration of vegetation period is 79 to 85 days. Drought resistant. 1000 grains weight is 260-280 g. the protein Content in the seeds of 20 – 22%.Resistant to lodging, suitable for straight-cutting.

In the competitive strain testing of IR to them. V. Y. Yuryev the maximum yield of varieties produced in 2008 year and amounted to 5.0 t/ha. According to the data of the field qualifying expertise in the woodland zone in 2009-2010 yielding varieties on average was 2.65 t/ha, with maximum yields in 2009 compared to 3.79 t/ha on Andrushevsky DSS Zhitomir DASR. In the forest-Steppe zone for the 2009-20010 years the average yield was 2.72 t/ha, with maximum yield in 2009 of 4.02 t/ha obtained at the Sumy of DASR. In the Steppe zone, in 2009-2010 the average yield was 2.71 t/ha, with maximum yield in 2009 in Kirovohrad DSS – 4,22 t/ha.

In 2012, the farm TPF “intercentre Lux” (Slobozia district, Transnistrian Moldavian Republic) the yield grade of the Stronghold was to 4.64 t/ha. In production conditions in the JV “Victory” of Fastiv district, Kyiv region. well, in 2012 we received a yield of 4.00 t/ha.
