January 2018 in Ukraine, the company "Columbus" (TM "the lighthouse-pack") entered into
operation a new complex for the production of packaging from expanded polystyrene
. The plant is equipped with the latest equipment with the capacity of 30 000 000 products in
a month. The company has the ability to manufacture packaging with different colors. In addition
traditional trays, the company produces packaging with a moisture absorption that
is a new kind of packaging on the Ukrainian market. Such packaging is widely
used EU, USA, Canada, Russia and other countries. Advantages
desiccant packaging in comparison with conventional tray ( including tray
liner for moisture):
- water absorption up to 600 % of the weight of the tray;
- aesthetics product - lack of moisture on the packaging;
