Profile pipe is a steel pipe oval, square or rectangular cross-section whose production is governed by the requirements of GOST 13663-86. In the manufacturing process tubes are divided into: seamless cold drawn, seamless hot-deformed, welded and cold formed electrically welded. The assortment should meet the following Standards:

square tubes (GOST 8639-82);

rectangular tubes (GOST 8645-68);

oval pipe (GOST 8642-68).

According to the established Standards, the pipe sections are available in the following sizes:

square tube: size of side of square 10 – 180 (32 - 65) mm and a wall thickness of 1 – 14 (4 – 6) mm; rectangular tube: size of the rectangle sides from 15x10 (28х25) mm to 180х150 (230х170) mm and thickness of 1 – 12 (1.5 - 20) mm, in brackets the parameters of tubes of special sizes; oval tube: size from 6x3 oval (17х6.6) to 90x50 mm (72х22) mm thickness 0.5 – 2.5 (1 – 1.7) mm, in brackets the parameters of tubes of special sizes.

According to the requirements of GOST, the pipe sections are available in the following lengths:

random length:

4.0 m to 12.5 m - for seamless hot-deformed;

1.5 m – 9.0 m – for seamless cold-drawn or welded lengths:

4.0 m to 12.5 m – for seamless hot-deformed;

4.5 m – 11.0 m – for seamless cold-drawn;

5.0 m – 9.0 m for the welded length is a multiple dimensional with allowance 5 mm for each cut:

4.0 m to 12.5 m – for seamless hot-deformed;

1.5 m – 11.0 m – for seamless cold-drawn.

The pipe profile is manufactured from steel of the following brands:

10, 20, 35, 45, 10ps, 08KP – hot and cold;

10, 10ps, 20, St2sp, St2ps, St2kp, St4sp, St4ps, St4kp – welded.

The surface condition of pipes, they are uncoated (black) and coating (galvanized). Due to their physical characteristics, such as strength, relatively low specific weight, high bending strength, shaped pipe finds wide application in construction and various engineering industries and furniture industries.

The shape of the pipe facilitates the design and installation of it on different flat surfaces and the articulation of structural elements with each other to create more complex metal structures.
