Kit model measures the hardness of MTV-3 is designed for calibration of hardness testers by Vickers. The principle of the method lies in the indentation in the test material four-sided diamond pyramid with a dihedral angle equal to 136°. The Vickers hardness is calculated as the ratio of the load P to the surface area of the received fingerprint. Method Vickers allows to determine the hardness of nitrided and sintered surfaces and thin sheet materials.
