The sintanolov — Nonylphenol the alcohols are a mixture of polyethylene glycol ethers with different oxyethylene number of groups and the size of the radical R. Nonionic surface-active substances.

Sintanol DS — with the General formula RO(СН2СН2О)PN, where R = C10-C18 , n=8-10. Mark is denoted by the degree ethoxycarbonyl - Sintanol DS-10 = n=10; colorless or light yellow paste; the content of the basic substance 98-99 %; cloud point 64-74°C (1% aqueous solution); soluble in water; the critical concentration micellization CMC=0.09 g/L.

Obtained by action of ethylene oxide on aliphatic alcohols at 140-160 °C in the presence of 5% alkali solution, alkoxides of alkali metals, boron TRIFLUORIDE or tin tetrachloride in vigorous stirring of the reaction mixture.

The sintanolov included in the detergent composition, used as stabilizers for suspensions, emulsifiers, antistatic agents when the processing of synthetic fibers, wool degreasers and metal surfaces, equalizers kupovini dyeing dyes, wetting agents, additives in detergent compositions, dispersants.

In textile industry used in the coloring materials of different colors. In the production process of emulsions mineral oil sintanol is used as an emulsifier. Widely used as detergent and the wetting agent in the bleaching process staining, washing textiles, man-made or natural fibers. In the textile industry the substance is used very widely.

In the production of the sintanolov used as high-performance emulsifiers, included in the many lubricants and coolants in the composition of the solvent funds for degreasing of surfaces in the process of preparing for the future treatment.

Sintanol DS-10 as surfactant demand in the enterprises producing cleansing detergent based on synthetic. The active use of the product in this industry due to its ability it is good to wash, emulsify (the average degree of emulsification), to stabilize and disperse.

To the remarkable properties of sintanol DS-10 as nonionic surfactants include the following:

– good interaction with additional components of the detergent;

Also the substance used in the textile industry, where it participates in the processes of cooking, bleaching or dying tissue. They are treated as antistatic agent of synthetic the fibers, reducing their static charge. When painting kupovini dyes cellulose fibers acts as an equalizer. Using this surfactant and in different treatment processes of leather, fur, wool, in particular, for degreasing, wetting, etc.
