Toothed V-ribbed belt in the mill operates a system of toothed gears (rollers). Rolls rotate in opposite directions, and between them served the product to grind. The main advantage of such a combined strap is that in the case of contact with any solid particles or binding of rollers you can use ribbed side to change the direction of rotation of the drive pulley in the opposite direction. This action makes it possible to prevent breakage of the machine. Slippage of the belt from the auxiliary profile in case of overload.

In rare cases, instead of the scalloped-V-ribbed belt on the equipment used double sided timing belts and double sided poly V-belts.
