The purpose of the oil gear pump NMSH 2-40-1,6/16 (2,2/1500)
Gear-type pumps sh, NMSH, NMSHF, NMSG and electric pump units on their base intended for pumping petroleum products (oil, OMTI oil, diesel fuel, fuel oil, fuel oil) and other liquids possessing lubricating ability (magnetic varnish, paints), including lagazashivili (bitumen, tar, rubraks etc NMSG pumps with heating )without mechanical impurities and non-corrosive working parts of the pump.
The viscosity of a pumped liquid temperature up to +70°C (for some pumps according to customer's demand up to 250°C). The lower limit of viscosity is limited to greasing ability of a pumped fluid, upper - motor power and suction ability of the pump. When ordering, the limits of viscosity and operating temperature of the pumped liquid must be agreed with the manufacturer.
Pumps and units correspond to the products 1 (restorable) GOST 27.003-9.
Pumps and units are manufactured in climatic modification U, location category 2, 3 or T2, T5 according to GOST 15150-69. Pumps for orders of Russian Maritime register of shipping (RMRS), the pumps (units) are manufactured in climatic design OM category 2, 5 GOST 15150-69, and may be installed on ships of the Navy unlimited navigation area, as well as in the machinery and boiler compartments of ships with automation mark A1 and A2 in the symbol of class RMRS.
On customer request the pumps can be supplied in version for operation in explosive and fire hazardous processes in the areas of class V-1A, V-1B, b-1G, b-II for RB.

designed for pumping of petroleum products(mineral oils, mazut) diesel fuel and etc. with viscosity from 1,08 up to 300Ву) at the enterprises of oil refining
at the enterprises of a heat supply for supplying fuel oil, diesel fuel in boiler installations
for unloading/transshipment of oil products on shipping terminals
supply of greasing liquids in lubrication systems high-loaded cars and mechanisms(turbine, rolling mills, etc.)

Electric pump unit consists of gear pump and motor which are mounted :
for pumps NMSH, NMSG - on common plate (frame) and the coupling protected by housing;
for pumps NMSF - using light (welded or cast) and couplings.
